After Sigma's second defeat, the maverick hunters set out to once again defeat all the mavericks. Years after the defeat of the X Hunters, a scientist, Dr. Doppler created a Nuero Computer which shut down a reploid should they start to turn maverick so that they could be repaired, but it had a flaw. The mavericks that were repaired with the Nuero Computer became maverick once more. The maverick hunters determined that Dr. Doppler had caused this and Doppler himself had become maverick.To make things worse, Doppler ressurected an old foe of X's...
