To do this glith, use a weapon that goes through an enemy. When it hits press the Select button (this may work with the start button on newer consoles). When the game is paused like that the enemy will keep on flashing. When the flashing stops, press the Select button again to un-pause the game. The weapon will damage the enemy again.
