EDIT: We have confirmed the validity and the source of these. Read the updated post below for details...

A user on our forums, megachu exe, has discovered some japanese to english name changes. We are still trying to determine the validity and the source of the news of these changes, so take this lightly until we can confirm it. These names were obtained from the yahoo babelfish japanese to english translation... Wonder if Capcom will use the translated names or new names?

EDIT 2: There has been some confusion about what this means. This is simply a confirmation of the names that have been translated so far. I have updated the quote to better explain this.

We have quoted him below...

Having Some issues with the compresssion... - Posted by MegaMan1311 on 7-22-2008
EDIT: I've fixed the issues. The comics were broken because of the site upgrade, not the compression. Not really sure why some things like the news sometimes don't display. My suggestion to resolve that is just to refresh the page. If anyone ever encounters any more issue, then please pm me. Also, I think the compression is going great. If you notice a difference in the loading time of the site, please leave a comment here.

We are having some issues due to the compression I enabled earlier. Two issues I am aware of are the ZX Comic and the main page of the site sometimes not showing the news. Please do not report these to me. However, do send anymore issues that you find. I cannot fix the issues tonight, but I will tomorrow. It may result it me having to remove the compression. Sorry for the inconvience.

I've Done Some Optimization - Posted by MegaMan1311 on 7-22-2008
I've done some optimization to the site. I've enabled some compression on the site which is supposed to speed up the site. This may cause errors however, so if you see any errors please PM me on the forums. I'm still testing to see if it helps that much, but it is enabled.

I've also made some minor tweaks on the forums. I've added user-rank bars to users with high ranks. The fuller the bar, the higher the rank you are. I've also made all users with non-special ranks have a blue name instead of a black. Just some minor changes really.

Ryuusei no Rockman Tribe Anime - Posted by MegaMan1311 on 7-20-2008
I have added the Ryuusei no Rockman Tribe Anime to the site.

Tribe Subbed: All episodes (1-21)
Tribe Raw: 13 Episodes (1, 4-15)

As for the original episodes... Give me a while on those. I have about 40ish more episodes on each category which equals up to 80 more episodes for me to add. It'll take a while, and I doubt that I will even be able to start on those today.

So Currently on Original:
Original Subbed: Up to episode 11 (Out of 55)
Original Raw: Up to episode 12 (Out of 55)

Sorry for the Emails! - Posted by MegaMan1311 on 7-20-2008
You may be receiving about 8 emails from us shortly. I am uploading the Ryuusei no Rockman anime now (I will tell you when I am finished) and forgot to uncheck the box that says "Email Members".

It is unchecked now, but I didn't do it for the first 8 times. I apologize for the emails. Just delete them.

Noise Change, Spade Magnet Image, + RnR3 Site Update! - Posted by MegaMan1311 on 7-15-2008
Thanks to our forums member, Dark-Soul, we have been informed that the RnR3 Site has been updated and with it comes an image of Spade Magnet and some pretty cool sketches of the characters (Only Spade Magnet Image is shown below). It also has an image of all of the noise changes and images of the Noise Change system that controls how powerful the Noise Change is depending on a gauge in the top right corner of the screen.

In case you don't know yet, Noise change is where Rockman uses Noise caused by a meteor to give himself the form of a past opponent from the first game. For instance, Cygnus Noise would turn him into a Cygnus Wing / Rockman Hybrid.

A lot of New RnR3 and Rockman 9 Info - Posted by MegaMan1311 on 7-14-2008
Seeing how The Undersquare already wrote a good post about this, I'll just post what they wrote (with my modifications of course!).
The Undersquare wrote:COCOROG's blog offers some initial details at what's in store as well as some photos of the pages.

The threat in this game appears to be a large meteor headed on a crash collision with Earth, referred to as Meteor G.

A character referred to as Spade Magnets will appear in this game. He is described to be a a Wizard, originally meant to help people, but he has become corrupted by Noise radiating from Meteor G. Sounds like a first boss.

Transformations in this game are referred to as "Noise Changes" and are described as mutations that are allowed by attaining a certain level of Noise and are the result of Noisy Waves coming from Meteor G. Levels of noise will be indicated by a percentage on the top right of the battle screen. When the level of Noise decreases to a certain point, Rockman will automatically revert to lower level forms during battle. So far, there is a mention of Noise Changes based on a large amount of FM Seijin from the first game.

-Ox Noise is described as a fire-based form that will boast high attack power and use of the fire element.
-Libra Noise is described to make use of a fusion of fire and water and will also boast high defense properties.
-Cygnus Noise will grant high speed as well as wings, which will likely grant Float Shoes.
-Ophiuchus Noise uses the power of poison and snakes and is labeled as the strategic form.
-Gemini Noise a powerful form that makes use of electricity and probably boasts extra special abilities regarding Battle Cards, such as Side Select.

There are said to be more transformations, and next month's CoroCoro will supposedly reveal the ultimate transformation.

It is mentioned in the report that Subaru will have a new catchphrase when performing Denpa Henkan and becoming Rockman. He will now say "Trans Code! Shooting Star Rockman!".

Also, it seems that we have the return of the side camera that we all love and miss from the EXE series? It's not confirmed if the full range of movement for Rockman will return as well, but let's keep our fingers crossed.

Finally, the report mentions a change in appearance for the custom screen. Perhaps the custom screen selection will be a lot more complicated than merely selecting down a column. There is also a new Mega Card with an attack power of 100 that features War Rock cutting and tearing through enemies.

Quite a bit of new info has been released about Rockman 9, I'll just summarize it. Thanks to Rockman PM for this info.

  • It will cost $10 dollars (1000 Wii Points)
  • It will be available on PSN and XBL also.

Gyroman Black went to the World Hobby Fair Summer 2008 where they had Rockman 9 on demo. Here is his impressions about it.

The game felt just like a Famicom Rockman game does, a perfect rendition of a Rockman game. I also played the game by holding the Wii Remote sideways and it didn't feel discomforting at all.

The first stage available was Concrete Man's stage and the second stage was Plug Man's stage. On the boss select screen, the mugshots has a R number mark on it. Does this indicate that Dr. Light is the villain this time?

Concrete Man's stage was a very tough level with unpredictable attack patterns from enemies, and not to mention a elephant midboss that I faced three times, and from whom I got lots of damage from in the process. Plug Man's stage looked more like the stage that aims at instant death type elements, where the disappearing blocks are present, hovering so gallantly over spikes and pits. The first stage was a slow stage, where this stage on the other hand was very quick, at least that's how it felt!

I stood in line three times so I could play Plug Man's stage, and beat it a second time, but when I manage to beat it, there wasn't a boss at the end.

It was embarrassing to die on the same spot three times in one try, so I went and asked Mr. Horiken (Capcom producer Takeshi Horinouchi) if I could give it a second shot, without any mistakes this time. I went and stood in line again and try what I thought was Concrete Man's stage, but it was in fact Plug Man's stage again... I ended up beating the stage again and hand the control over to the next person in line.

I lacked the energy to stand in line again, so I had to call it a day and went home again.
